My husband and I just watched this incredible documentary (currently on prime) about the disater of the Sultana. The biggest maritime disaster in our country's history that is not taught in schools and sadly most Americans have never heard of. The link to the trailer is below, go check it out!
I was particularly impressed with one line written by a Union soldier, about his Confederate captors:
